Here’s the deal, I don’t love “lipstick”. I love all things lip related, but I am VERY picky when it comes to textures especially. Lately, I have also become picky when it comes to the ingredients. Think about it, if you are going to be putting something on your lips you are likely going to be ingesting it. Not to mention, anything on your skin is absorbed. I will save you the long version of the story on my hunt for clean beauty, but let’s just say I have been doing my research. Here are a few clean finds that will also help nourish your lips.

eco lips vegan Brazilian lip tints

I was actually sent this variety pack to review and have been loving it so much that I wear it everyday. It has quickly become my new go-to! The Lip Tints feel very much like a lip balm that gives you a longer lasting color. I love that they are multipurpose and even work well for your cheeks! Do not be alarmed with how dark the colors appear in the tube. They go on much lighter. You can see them all in action in my Instagram highlights under “clean lip tints”. honest beauty LIP Balm

I have this gorgeous lip balm in Summer Melon, but there are about 7 colors to choose from. I love the texture of this one. It feels a little more like a lipstick, but definitely mostly like a balm. I am not even sure if that makes sense. Just know that it is not thick, heavy, or sticky. You get a lot for your money as well. Grab these for about $6 a piece on Amazon.

burts bees 100% natural glossy lipstick

This is one actual lipstick that I took a chance on and I am so glad I did! Because it is glossy in nature, it is not thick or a matte like “typical” lipstick. There are several different colors to choose from, but I think the Peony Dew is a great neutral. You can grab these for about $6 on Amazon.

ilia multi-stick for lips + cheeks

This one is on the pricier end, but if you factor in that it could be for both the lips and the cheeks you are technically getting 2 products for about $15. For a clean product, that is an affordable price in my opinion. Ilia has a ton of great reviews on so many of their products. The Multi-Stick won an Allure beauty award in 2021! $34 on Amazon.

Honest Lip Crayon

If you are more of a lip crayon person, Honest has a great one with several colors to choose from. Crayons typically provide moisture but also a hint more color than a balm or tint. Lip crayons offer buildable color like lipstick. About $12 on Amazon.
