It’s Friday and I am so happy to share a few finds that are making my heart happy!  The good news is that they are either under $5 or a steal!

First up, how many of you are needing a little pick me up on this super hot summer days?  I have decided that I am in love with the ZonePerfect® Kidz bars that were sent my way.  I guess I am a kid at heart because I still appreciate flavors like chocolate cupcake, yellow cupcake and sugar cookie.  Yep.  I have the appetite of a kid.  Well, these have been great to pop in my purse as we head out.  The boys love them to so we end up fighting over who gets the chocolate cupcake 🙂

Next, who has tried or owns a beauty sponge or makeup blender?  I kept seeing them and wondered just why do I need one of these?  I mean honestly, are my fingers not good enough?  So, when I saw one on the rack at Marshall’s for $4.99 a few weeks ago I had to give it a try.  I mean, what did I have to lose anyway.  You guys!  This things works great and I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner.  The trick is you have to wet the sponge before use and squeeze out any excess water.  Use the sponge by “dabbing” or “tapping” the makeup onto your skin.  I don’t wear a foundation, but I do use this for my concealer.  I can tell you that this makes my expensive concealer last that much longer because it truly blends it.  I end up using less product because of this $5 investment.  What’s better is that it really creates a flawless look that lasts even longer.  If you can’t find one on sale at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx you can grab some at a great price on Amazon.
