Several weeks ago I was feeling rather crafty and decided that Davis “needed” a fox softie. Here’s the thing, I wanted to make it and I have NEVER in my life made a “doll” before. So, this came with great trial and error. I am not even going to begin to tell you how to put this together. My attempts were rough. Very rough. However, I know that this pattern is a good one and it came out SO cute! I would say that this is a good project for you even if you do not really sew. Your kid is going to love it even if it isn’t perfect. Yes, the pattern is hand drawn so expect imperfections. I hope you enjoy it!

This is so neat! Great job creating him! 🙂 I think my mom is going to try making him for my sister. (I’d try, but she’s MUCH better at sewing!!) My sister and her husband have a Sheba Inu dog that they think looks like a fox. Now that they’re expecting their first little one, they are liking the fox baby stuff because it reminds them of their dog. 🙂

Super cute Fox! How do I attach the tail?
Felicia says
Jeannie,
I just cut a tiny slit in the back of the fox and then inserted the tail and tacked on the inside.
