Two Camera Video Baby Monitor: Levana Stella

March 10, 2015 by Felicia

disclosure graphicToday there are so many options when it comes to baby monitors.  I can safely say that things have drastically changed in just the 4 years since I had Davis.  Now there are two camera video baby monitor options that seem like such a smart idea!

Enter the Levana Stella Two Camera Video Baby Monitor!  If we had this option back in the day it would have been so much easier to see a wiggly baby in a crib.  Not only does the camera pan and zoom, but with two, you can position the cameras in different locations in the room in order to catch the best views.  Once baby number two comes along you don’t have to worry about purchasing another monitor.  Simply move the second camera into the other room and monitor two feeds.  If you need to add on, you can expand this up to four total cameras.

I also appreciate how large the screen is on the monitor.  You can easily see what is going on without squinting.  You can also use the two-way communication to talk to baby without entering the room.  I know how important this can be when you are trying to get them to sleep without them actually seeing you.  There are many times I did the “hit the deck” army crawl to get out of the room after singing to a crying baby!  3 soothing lullabies are also available for play if you aren’t that into singing.

Another complaint I have had with previous baby monitors is the battery life.  The Levana Stella can potentially last up to 36 hours depending upon audio activations.  There’s nothing like hearing that “beep beep beep” in the middle of the night once you’ve finally fallen asleep when the monitor is dying!  Anything to preserve the much needed sleep is a win/win for parents.  The LED night vision and ClearVu Digital Signal means that you will see baby and not pixels.

Overall, the Levana Stella with two Cameras is a great option if you are in the market.  What a great way to save for future babies as well.  You can pick this monitor up for about $229.99.
