I’m sure that if you are an avid reader you are probably sick and tired of me talking about Graham’s skin sensitivities (I’m sure one day he will be tired of me telling you about it). The truth is, he has them and it has been a long road trying to find the perfect thing for his mild eczema or dermatitis. I have found products that have helped to ease the problem and have actually made it go away for a while, but nothing that has completely gotten rid of it for the life of the product.
I was sent the Exederm baby products to try and have fallen in love! My favorite two items are the Baby Eczema Cream and the Baby Eczema Wash. The items are all non scented and free from irritants that cause eczema. There are no parabens, lanolin, SLS or SLES, Propylene Glycol, formaldehyde, or phthalates. Graham’s skin has been the best it has ever been since we have been using this product. I love that it is not greasy and dries pretty quickly (a plus when you have a squirmy toddler who needs to be in jammies!).
Even though the children’s line was just launched in April, it has already received The National Eczema Association’s 5 individual Seals of Acceptance Awards! That is pretty impressive! I have already been spreading the news about this great new product to my friends who have children with skin issues, and am now excited to share it with you!
The prices are pretty reasonable when you compare them to other brands that claim to do the same thing (and fall short in our experience). The Baby Eczema Wash retails for $12.99 and the Cream for $14.99. You receive 20% off if you purchase 3 items, free shipping if your order is over $50, and there is a “No Quibble” money-back guarantee!

I learned that in homes with air conditioning, consider using a humidifier to return moisture to the air. yyeres(at)gmail(dot)com
During the summer if you use an air conditioner you should consider using a humidifier.
eczema and dermatitis are interchangeable words derived from old Greek and Latin they both basically mean the same thing: “inflammation of the skin”

I learned that one should keep house temperatures cool to warm rather than warm to hot, as this is most comfortable temperature for dry sensitive skin or eczema
