I truly am not high maintenance, but there are a few beauty products that I like to keep around because they make my life simpler and make me feel better. The winter is when I find myself needing a few extra essentials due to the lack of moisture in the air and in turn, lack of moisture on my skin! Most of the things that are my favorites are drug store finds and are made even better by CVS ExtraCare® Rewards. Truly, if you can catch it at the right time you can make money! Make sure to check your on line circular for your store as well as the CVS Coupons available.
AVEENO® POSITIVELY RADIANT® Intensive Night Cream ($17.99)
In the summer I am usually good without a night cream, but when winter rolls around I have to find something that is thicker and sticks with my skin longer. Am I the only one that feels like my face will literally crack apart in the winter? One of my favorite night creams is this one because it isn’t super heavy, has a pleasant smell and makes my skin feel refreshed in the morning. I have noticed that over time it has even helped to even out my skin tone.
RoC Multi Correxion 5-in1 Daily Moisturizer and Eye Cream ($28.99 a piece)
If you need a daily moisturizer that goes beyond moisture, this one offers a huge bang for your buck while it combats the 5 main signs of aging! Even though it isn’t super noticeable yet, I’ve noticed that my skin is loosing some of its elasticity. There are also a few fine lines starting to creep up. I have always struggled with dark circles under my eyes which is definitely inherited, but also has to do with diet and lack of sleep. I am willing to spend a little more on a good eye cream that combats the puffiness and the circles and RoC is definitely a wonderful choice.
Neutrogena® Shine Control Primer ($13.99)
I adore this stuff! One thing I have learned over time is that if your face has no moisture then your make-up is not only going to look uneven, but it is not going to be hanging around for very long. This primer is hands down, the best primer I have ever tried. I sometimes use it on the weekends by itself just because of the awesome shine control. This is one of my “goes with me everywhere” items. Not to mention, you really can’t beat that price!
Neutrogena® Fresh Foaming Cleasner ($7.99)
This is a prime example of why we don’t fix things that are not broken! I’ve been using this face wash/make up remover since well before I was married (I’ve been married 13 years). That is how much I adore this product and hope that it never ever goes away! Ever. Seriously. One time I couldn’t find it and had a mini panic attack that maybe it wasn’t around anymore. Luckily, the store was just out of stock at the moment. This is more than just a facial cleanser, it is also the most gentle make-up remover I have ever used. It completely washes away my water proof mascara and makes my skin feel wonderful. Love. This. Stuff.
Neutrogena® Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes ($7.99)
Being a blogger means that I spend quite a bit of time traveling by plane. If you have flown recently you know the headache of taking the things you would really like to with you. Because of the liquid restrictions I have found that these have become my best friend. I keep some on hand at all times just to throw in my travel case. They work great and have been a complete sanity saver.
Neutrogena® MoistureSmooth Color ($8.99)
Raise your hand if your lips are a hot mess in the winter? Mine definitely are and this, my dear friends, is a solution I love! Not only does it add color to your lips, but it smells amazing, goes on smooth, feels light and moisturizes like no other. It is made with fruit extracts along with mango and shea butter. Yum!
All of these Johnson and Johnson products and more are going to be at amazing prices this week at CVS! Make sure to check your online store circular for the exact deals for your region.
