(repost from December 2013 because it is needed!)
With Christmas behind us and a new year upon us, we are excited to have a little break all to ourselves. I love having these boys with me and spending some much needed time together. However, if you are like us, you start to find yourself going a bit stir crazy at times. Yes, the new Christmas toys are cool, but they are only cool for a limited time (unless you are Graham’s nook). I love that that boy loves to read!
Davis is my whimsical three year old who loves to play, play, and play some more! He loves to use his imagination and create games. He also loves finger puppets. So, I decided I would make him a few of his own woodland animals. I free handed these so no judging on the artistry! I think they have a unique personality all their own if I do say so myself. Not to mention, their backsides even have personality. I left them black and white so that you and your kids could color them together and make them your own.

Now, go print, color, cut, and be merry!
These are so adorable! What a fun little activity for the kids while they are home on winter break! Thank you for sharing!
This is so cute. I think I will make mines a lesson for the kids they can write their own story and present it to the family for New Years with this activity
Finger puppets are a great way to further a young child’s imagination. Plus, they don’t require batteries!
My little girl would love these printable animals. They are heavy into “the fox song” now and I could just see them with their little fingers and singing along..
These are so cute! I need to print these for my son.
Yes I’m going a little crazy right now with my 4 kids at home. I homeschool 3 out of 4 of them but it’s getting hard to find quality fun time for them. I love these puppets. I’m going to have to print them for my little M.
I LOVE these. I bookmarked these and going to print them too!
Love the idea! This would be such a perfect activity for my nephews.
