My favorite time of the year is fall.  I love pretty much everything about it.  I love the weather, the not too hot and not too cold feel.  I love the clothes with fun scarves, corduroys and boots.  However, it seems that every year that “fall feel” lingers less and less.  It seems we go from summer weather straight to winter.  So, I’ve been enjoying the past few days and also thinking about how to transition my clothes from fall to winter since it is right around the corner.

I was recently sent a few pieces from Tobi that are perfect for the fall to winter transition.  The object is to stay warm, cozy and comfortable and to be able to mix, match and layer up!  These few pieces will be great when transitioning.  The dresses will even work well for spring and summer!  Now, that’s what I call stretching your wardrobe and budget.

This super comfy Maddie Boyfriend Cardigan goes with so much of what I already own.  It is thick enough that I’ve worn it without a jacket on some of the more crisp mornings as well.  I love that it is oversized and I feel like I can just wrap up in it.  I enjoy pairing this cardigan with jeans, black cords, dresses and my favorite booties.

The Thread & Supply Better Days Shirt Dress in Olive has also been another great addition to the wardrobe.  This olive color might as well be black because it goes with everything.  For the colder days I have enjoyed pairing it with gray tights and brown boots.  This will be perfect with sandals in the spring and summer as well.

And who doesn’t love a great maxi dress?  They are perfect for so many reasons.  Mainly, I like the fact that I can cover up my ashen white legs during the winter!  But seriously, I love how flowy and comfy they are.  Check out the In My Secret Garden Maxi Dress.  It is super cute for the summer, but pair it with a cardigan and you have a great fall to winter transition piece.
