Growing up in the south and eating meals with my grandmother has made me a fan of country style green beans! If you have never tried them, what are you waiting for?! Here is a recipe that is much easier than my grandmother’s pressure cooker. You don’t even have to string the beans!
Ingredients:
3 Cans of Green Beans, drained (we like Pole Cut)
2 Cups of Chicken Broth (we use low-sodium, all natural)
8 Slices of cooked bacon broken into small pieces (we use the microwaveable kind)
1 Teaspoon of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation:
Add all of the ingredients to the crock pot. Stir together well and cook on high for 3-4 hours. Easy and delicious!
