This has been a pretty special summer for us. The past two summers we have not really done a large vacation. It has been nice to stay local and to enjoy our own area. This is also the very last summer before Davis, the youngest, starts kindergarten. Now, that is a separate post on its own, but do not be sad for me. Just know that I am a believer in delighting in the new seasons of life.
One thing the boys and I have taken such joy in is spending time with my grandmother (Nanny). This summer she will be turning 93! How many young boys can say that they had the opportunity to know their great-grandmother? A woman that was born in the 20’s and has so much wisdom and a wealth of stories to fill a lifetime is hanging out with a 5 and 9 year old. We are so blessed to still have her with us. So, last week the boys and I had the special opportunity to take her to a brand new local produce stand. These are the types of little mini adventures we like to do in the summer. To see her eyes in that place is a look I will never forget. She had so much joy! There were rows and rows of produce for picking straight from the field as well as a few rows of gorgeous flowers that you could cut yourself. It was so much fun letting her pick out her favorite fruits.
Davis and I generally have the same taste in food and we were both instantly drawn to a gorgeous basket full of blackberries. I brought them home to add to my wild blackberry collection. Now we are overflowing with blackberries! I guess that is not a bad problem to have, right? Besides, it just brings up all the memories of picking those wild blackberries with Nanny (my grandmother) when I was a little girl. That was what summer was made of. All you needed was a blackberry patch, the creek and your bike. I’m so happy to give my boys that type of summer.
We’ve all been taking it easy and I have been enjoying more summer mornings and afternoons on my front porch with a glass of iced coffee. Iced coffee in the summer just hits the spot! You guys already know what a fan I am of International Delight, so it’s no surprise that I love the convenience of the Iced Coffee Vanilla. All I have to do is load a cup with ice, pour it over out of the carton and add a straw. I could sit and sip all day!
So, in honor of keeping life simple and sharing memories, I created a free blackberry iPhone wallpaper for you to download! I used that picture of those gorgeous berries up there! You’ll recognize it! I’m offering the wallpaper in 3 different phrases (berry happy, berry cool and berry thankful). Hopefully you will find one that speaks to you! So, grab your happy little iPhone, grab a cup of Iced Coffee and sit a spell. You’ll be glad you did it! Make sure to sign up for your International Delight coupon as well.

How cool! I love berries, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wallpaper offered before.
I feel separated because my heart can’t choose between those berries and that Iced Coffee which is one of my daily morning weaknesses. And having that one up there as a wallpaper for my phone sounds like a nice idea! Thanks for the coupon as well, might be of use!
I love iced coffee in the summer. It’s such a refreshing treat. Love the berry wallpapers.
What a clever wallpaper idea! I love berries, especially if they are fresh. So juicy!
What a cute wallpaper! I’m not a big berries fan but we always have them because my kids are. They just can’t get enough!
That sounded like a really nice time with the family! That wallpaper is adorable. Now I’m kind of craving blackberries!
Blackberries are my favorite berry to snack on. I will have to pick up some International Delight Iced Coffee to try.
Ah instant iced coffee is genius. Does it really get any better than that when you need your caffeine like NOW? 🙂
We love blackberries and the wallpaper is too cute!
Oh we love blackberries! That coffee is a must too, so easy!
I love the yummy flavors of fruit right now. Blackberries aren’t normally in my kitchen but now I’m craving them. Got to nab some, but first download the cute wallpaper.
What a cool idea, love how you had fun with this post, the photos are just perfect too! Made me smile reading this.
Fun wallpaper… I need a change to my boring wallpaper. This is fun…but that iced coffee sure looks good too.
I’m drawn to any kind of berries! I love when the season rolls around.
Love the wallpaper, perfect for summer. And I always keep ID iced coffee in my fridge! It’s one of my favorite drinks in the summer.
I love this wallpaper. I like to taste blackberries but not sure where to find here in our country.
