How many of you grew up reading the Richard Scarry books? I know that I always looked forward to reading them while waiting in the dentist office growing up. We also owned a few ourselves. Well, now your kids can fall in love with the characters in a whole new way!
Busytown Mysteries will be airing on CBS every Saturday morning! We had a chance to review two of the episodes that will be playing and Graham is hooked! They are great because they introduce your toddler to logical reasoning and thinking skills. The mysteries all are based on reasoning out the who, what, when, where, why, and how of what is going on. They even have a very, very catchy song! I should sing it for you! No, I’ll spare you since my entire family has been subjected to it all weekend. The characters look the same and they still have the same wholesome messages as well.
You can also get involved in a super interactive website. There is so much to explore online and many games to play. You and your child can choose what character you would like to be and what silly car you would like to drive around town. Be careful! You could easily be there all day! Check it out at busytownmysteries.com.
So, if you are enjoying a relaxing Saturday morning, tune into CBS for the Busytown Mysteries! You will all soon be addicted!

I am such a Richard Scarry fan! I have loads of books and my kids really enjoy them. Funny…I was just telling my daughter last night how we only got to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings. You can imagine the look on her face.
