The past few weekends have been spent outdoors preparing our yard and raised bed gardens for plants.  I’ve spent many hours plucking weeds and digging up the ground.  It really is a great way to be outdoors and get your mind off of the stresses of the world.  I was sent a Valerie Rice Garden Apron to review with my own gardening responsibilities.

The one dilemma I have always had is that I am constantly getting pants dirty as I kneel on the ground or in the rocks.  While this isn’t a major problem if you have on work pants, the issue remains that I often do not have tons of time to change.   The Garden Apron is the perfect option for those of you looking to be outdoor ready in seconds.  The cut of the apron is extremely flattering and I love the light weight denim and linen it is created from.  The material is durable and comfortable.

If you aren’t using the Garden Apron to protect your knees, you an always use it to wipe your hands on or carry vegetable from the garden to the table!  $69 is a pricey item, but this would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift idea.
