White jeans? You want me to wear white jeans? That is what I asked myself last year when this trend came back around. Remember when they were all the rage in the 90’s? Mine had little tiny bows at the ankles with a slit. True story. Honestly, I love my white jeans more than my regular ones. The key is finding a great fit, going up a size and wearing the right undies. Yes, ladies, undies. Wear them. Why go up a size? Well, if you are wearing white let’s just say that a little more will show if they are clingy. Now, if you are a teen or in your early 20’s or practice tons of exercise you can avoid this rule. However, generally speaking, it is better to size up with white (I’ve seen one to many crater disasters if you catch my drift).
So, how do I wear mine? Remember, the key is to keep it simple. I love pairing mine with my favorite gray tee shirt. I love this look because it is super simple to dress up or down. Add a pair of wedges, a pendant necklace and a denim jacket and you have casual Friday! Lose the jacket and add a pair of flats for a more relaxed look. I even love this look with my leopard print flats.
