I am so excited to be collaborating with several of my favorite fashion and style bloggers to bring you 11 ways to style a denim jacket.  Now, do I consider myself a “fashion blogger”… no.  However, I love finding new ways to stretch my existing wardrobe and lately I have been finding new options (thanks to Pinterest) so that I can bring new life to old clothes.

One way I am stretching my wardrobe is by adding a denim jacket to the mix.  Yes, the denim jacket was super cool back in the 80’s and I am thrilled that it has made a come back.  It has been easy for me to dress it up for work or down for the weekend and it always goes great with everything.  The best part is that I found this one on Thredup.com (affiliate) for about $10 (you get $10 when you use the link)!

My tip is to pair your denim with bold patterns.  I love playing with my dresses in order to stretch them a bit on the chilly days.  Just roll the cuffs once to take your denim jacket up a notch.  This is how I wear the jacket to work and/or church functions.  I also have a favorite striped shirt that I love to pair my denim jacket with.

Bold patterns are fun, but if you are like me, you need something to break them up.  The denim does the trick and adds a little flair to your wardrobe.  The watch featured in this photo is my favorite JORD wood watch (affiliate) that goes with everything I own!
