What’s For Dinner This Week? January 24-30

January 23, 2022 by Felicia

I am happy to share the weekly meal plan below! Some of this could change throughout the week just due to life, but for the most part, this is what we will stick with! If you are enjoying these meal plan idea would you mind leaving me a comment here or maybe in the DMs on instagram? I’d love to hear what you have tried or if you have any meal suggestions. As always, my meals come from a good look at my pantry and what items I have in order to save the most money and eliminate waste.

TRADER JOE’S BRAISED BEEF ROAST

The whole family loves this roast. I just pair it with mashed potatoes and green beans and have an easy, quick meal. Just pop this bad boy in the microwave. Trust me! Don’t have a Trader Joe’s? Try this recipe: Slow Cooker Beer-Braised Pot Roast

TRADER JOE’S ORANGE CHICKEN

I know, I know. This is always on the menu. However, it is a carry over from last week. We never ended up fixing it. Saturday was my birthday so we went out to dinner. Don’t have a Trader Joe’s? Try this recipe: World’s Best Crockpot Orange Chicken

STEAKS AND CAESAR SALAD

You can’t go wrong with this one! Steaks was what Davis requested this week. I always get a bag caesar salad to go with it, but you could always do baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, or one of those frozen veggies hanging out in your freezer.

TUNA PASTA

Ok, before we knock the fact that this has tuna in it, we are going to give it a shot! After all, The Rambling Redhead showed videos of her young children gobbling this up! I’m sure you could substitute canned chicken if you were extremely opposed to tuna. Recipe here: Easy Canned Tuna Pasta

WINE BRAISED CHICKEN

I still had red wine hanging out in the fridge from the beef stew so I wanted to put it to good use. The recipe looks absolutely delicious and uses little to no ingredients! I had everything I needed except for the chicken. Recipe here: Wine Braised Chicken
