If that title doesn’t make you want to read more I’m not sure what will!  We have had a lot of fun with these new titles from Insight Editions Kids.  I have a total of 6 to share with you today and they are great for several levels of readers.

First of all, if you have a child who is a toddler up to school age you truly need to see these adorable Bouncing Bugs books.  They are hardcover books that offer up sweet little illustrations that show you all of the parts and different aspects of the bug the book is about.  There are flip out sections and labeled pictures.  The best part… each book turns into its very own wall hanging of a 3D bug!  Just flip the covers back and hang it by the included string.  What a sweet idea for little, curious people.  You can find: Wasp, Fly, Ant, and Bee.  I’m obsessed.  $10.99.

Next, if you have an older child who is intrigued by Angry Birds, then you need to get them hooked on these books.  I love the illustrations in both and Graham completely enjoyed the stories.  He actually read through both books in about an hour.

Stella and the Hunt for the Jade Egg is a hardcover title that takes kids through the story of Stella who is on a mission that others think she is too young to solve.  This could be a fun one for the family to read together.  $14.95.

Bad Piggies: Piggy Island Heroes is a soft cover chapter book that has a comic book style feel to it.  The illustrations are vivid and appear on virtually every page.  This is a story all about those mischievous pigs and what they are up to.  Again, if you have an Angry Birds lover then they are going to enjoy this one immensely.  $10.95.

  1. My son’s K teacher is all about bees (and I mean ALL about bees). I bet she’d like to have that in her classroom.

I’m here to wish you a Happy Easter. :)
