Yesterday as Graham made his Christmas list, he asked if Santa would please bring an elf. Not just any elf. He wanted an elf that was nice. We also heard that if you leave crackers and ice water out that the elf would come (reminds them of the crunching snow and ice). So, we put out a cracker and a small glass of ice water and guess who came?!
Meet Grover! Santa sent him to us last night and we are excited to have him in our home. He will be here until Christmas Eve. Santa has to collect him so that he can help deliver gifts. He also sent a sweet poem with Grover to let us know all about him. My favorite line is this one:
“But you’ll share kindness and goodness, and have lots of fun,
And you’ll let your friend (Graham) know that God brought love through His Son.
Baby Jesus was born on Christmas Day,
A gift more precious than any in my sleigh.”
Santa also sent a container of North Pole Snowflakes so that Grover can come to life every night! We are excited to sprinkle him before bed time tonight 🙂 Stay tuned for more Grover adventures with the Carter family. We can hardly wait! If your family would like to participate in this magical tradition make sure to visit Elf-Magic.com. You can even read about the nightly Elfcapades that Santa has shared.
