I can honestly say that I struggle when it comes to finding a great appetizer to bring to parties or have for “finger foods.” When I am asked to bring these types of items I always go for what is the quickest, easiest, and cheapest!
Have you seen the Ultimate Party Meatballs recipe on the back of the Heinz Chili Sauce bottle? Well, I did not know about this great recipe until Mom Central filled me in on it. More than one person in this house is glad they did!

We made the Ultimate Party Meatball recipe for Thanksgiving this year to have something a little different to go along with our meal. The recipe is simple and would be great at your Christmas dinner:
Ingredients:
1 Jar of Heinz Chili Sauce
1 Can of OceanSpray Cranberry Sauce
1 2 pound Package of Frozen, pre-cooked, Meatballs
Directions:
Place meatballs in the crock pot. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cook on high for about 4 hours.
Simple and cheap! These meatballs came out tasting delicious! They were actually Graham’s favorite part of Thanksgiving. He kept asking for more and my mother-in-law asked for the recipe.
Check out the Ultimate Party Meatball website for even more recipes, party ideas, and even free printables! I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Heinz and Ocean Spray and received the ingredients necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
Yummy! Sounds so simple too! I love simple! I’m going to have to try this out at Christmas time. Thanks so very much! 🙂
I love Heinz chili sauce although I usually combine mine with grape jelly for awesome crockpot meatballs. I haven’t tried it yet with cranberry sauce but it’s worth a try.
I agree.. I use grape jelly and they are always a hit!
I LOVE this recipe… It tastes SO good and is so simple! I love the fact that you can use the big bag of meatballs from COSTCO or SAM’s or make your own, and it works as well with turkey or pork meatballs.
Thanks for the link for the giveaway, too, we can all use some extra money this time of year!
Merry Christmas!
