With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it seems we are all looking for our favorite recipes and traditions to pull out. I am particularly looking for my Christmas decorations! We won’t be in town this year for Thanksgiving so I want to be able to put everything out when we get back. If you are like us, we have quite a few “little hands” at our dinner table when we gather for holiday meals. Whether it is Thanksgiving or Christmas, there are at least 8 hands ready to grab anything “snacky.”
My sister-in-law is always so great about making wonderful homemade cookies that she hands out on these enormous plates every year. I have no idea how she has the time to make them all, but she is pretty amazing at making massive quantities. I love to bake, but I just can’t get the massive quantities. So, this year I have a little secret that I am sharing with you! Did you know that Lance makes seasonal varieties of sandwich cookies? I just open up the packages, place them on my fancy plate and put them out where little hands can grab them!
It seems that the crowd favorite is the Chocolate Nekot® with Mint. A close second would be the fun Sprinkled Sugar Cookies with Sweet Creme. If you love all things Pumpkin then you might want to try the Nekot® with Pumpkin Cheesecake. The truth is, no one is going to complain about having cookies out for the taking!
HELPING TOYS FOR TOTS
Not only are the Lance Sandwich Cookies an easy way to have holiday cookies on hand, but they also help support Toys for Tots. For the first 500,000 packages sold Snyders-Lance will provide a contribution to Toys for Tots up to $25,000 through December 31st. Just another great reason to buy a few of these holiday cookies and save time as well as contribute to a great cause.
