Simple Banana Vanilla Yogurt Popsicle Recipe #iDelight

July 1, 2014 by Felicia

The hot days of summer are finally upon us and we are ready for them! Most days you will find us jumping feet first into the pool or hunkering down with a cool treat on the front porch. One of our favorite treats are homemade popsicles. We’ve made everything from fudgy to fruity and love experimenting with new varieties.

Yesterday I decided to get a little creative with our popsicles and use what we had on hand to make something delicious. I also like to make things healthy. Of course, if you have been reading this blog for any length of time you know that I am a huge fan of International Delight Fat-Free French Vanilla Creamer. My husband jokingly accuses me of using a little coffee in my creamer. Guilty. So, I decided to use the delicious flavor of my creamer combined with a banana and yogurt we had in our fridge. The combination turned out great and it is a great alternative to cookies!

Banana Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups plain, non-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup International Delight Fat-Free French Vanilla Creamer
  • 1 large banana, sliced

Preparation:

  • Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend well. There will still be a few small chunks of banana.
  • Place into popsicle molds and put in the freezer for about 5 hours.
  • Remove from molds by running under warm water for a few seconds. Enjoy!

What’s New for ID

If you are on the lookout for International Delight you may be surprised at what you find. They’ve recently changed the packaging. It caught me off guard at first, but now I’m used to that familiar orange and blue design. You will also find several varieties of fat-free and/or sugar-free offerings. Find sugar-free: French Vanilla and Hazelnut. Find fat-free: French Vanilla. Find Sugar-Free and Fat-Free combos: Toasted Hazelnut, Chocolate Almond Biscotti and Caramel Marshmallow.

Now, that’s a lot of flavor to get excited about! Make sure to follow International Delight on Facebook for even more news and special offers throughout the year. Find them on Pinterest for fun ideas and tasty creations!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of International Delight. The opinions and text are all mine.
