Do you have a child who is unable to tie their own shoe laces? I have a 3 year old who isn’t quite ready to learn to tie his shoes yet. Getting out the door with kids can be a huge pain in itself, let alone having to stop and tie shoes. I have resorted to buying velcro shoes a few times, but honestly, I prefer the look of tie shoes over velcro, especially as my son has gotten older. So more often than not, to get my 3 year old out the door requires either myself, my husband, or one of his older siblings to tie his shoes for him.

Shoe Buddies is a pair of sliders that slide onto the shoes’ original laces. Kids pinch the slider and slide toward the ankle to secure the laces. To loosen, simply pinch and slide toward the toes and slip your foot out. End caps are included to keep lace ends neat and tidy.

The Shoe Buddies came with easy to follow assembly directions. In minutes, the Shoe Buddies were on the shoes and ready to go, and my 3 year old had it figured out not long after! Don’t believe me? Take a look!
Only one caution… One of the end caps I had accidentally closed before it was on the shoelaces. I emailed the creator of Shoe Buddies and got an immediate response with a solution on how to fix it. Impressive customer service! With the help of a trusty veggie peeler, it was open and ready to use! She has advised me that she will be putting a caution on the product about this potential problem. But if it happens to you, a veggie peeler works wonders!
This has been so nice for not only my 3 year old, but the rest of us! No more worry about helping him with his shoes… He can do it himself, and he’s thrilled with it!
