Our Saturday Morning Breakfast Traditions

October 13, 2015 by Felicia

spend time with kidsDisclosuregraphiccompensation

When it comes to the weekends around here they are sacred.  Lately, they are becoming even more important with how busy life has become.  In the past few weeks there seems to have been so much that has happened.  It is nice to be able to stop, create a yummy and simple breakfast and gather everyone to the table.

One of the ways we keep it simple but indulgent is with cinnamon rolls.  You guys have already seen our heart shaped cinnamon rolls as well as our 30 second cinnamon rolls.  If you haven’t, what are you waiting for?  Both are amazing and so easy to do!  Also, both involve the best part of the roll, which is the icing (or so my kids seem to think).  We love the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls because of the quality and convenience.

The only problem that we have once we’ve created out delicious cinnamon roll delights is who gets the last one!  Generally, it is one of the kids.  As much as I love a good cinnamon roll, I enjoy the look of excitement on the kids faces when they know they are getting an extra.

Overall, Saturday mornings are our time to unwind and be together as a family.  If we are able to cook up some delicious Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls at the same time, then we are absolutely winning!

Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls are available nationwide in major grocery and retail stores. For more information, visit www.pillsbury.com/weekendbreakfast, www.Facebook.com/Pillsbury and @Pillsbury on Instagram and Twitter

Pilsbury is a brand I grew up with. I’ve always purchased the biscuitts. I’ll have to try the cinnamon rolls.

I so look forward to our weekend mornings, especially Sundays. We purposefully leave that time responsibility-free so we can all enjoy our time together.

Our daughter started Kindergarten this year and I had no idea how much it would make our lives exponentially busier! From 3-bedtime it’s a whirl wind and our weekends are slowly being ate away by everything we cant seem to accomplish during the week.

Those cinnamon rolls are so cute! We love doing breakfasts like this on the weekend, but I’ll need to add some heart shaped cinnamon buns to it!
