I think having kids makes Halloween so much more exciting! I look forward to this holiday every year just for another excuse to get creative and make yummy treats. Just in time for fall festivals and popcorn balls, Orville Redenbacher has come out with Flavors! If you love popcorn you are really going to love this new twist on flavored popcorn. Just choose your favorite flavor (Salt and Vinegar, White Cheddar or Extra Cheese). Pop the bag like normal and then sprinkle on as little or as much of the flavor packet as you would like. My personal favorite of the Orville Redenbacher’s Flavors is the White Cheddar which I used to build my gift basket theme upon. We have found that the best way to consume the new Flavors variety is to pour the entire flavor packet into your popped bag of popcorn, hold it closed and shake vigorously! Yum! Make sure to keep up with all of the popcorn updates on the Orville Redenbacher’s Facebook page.
Because Halloween is right around the corner we made a special Trick or Treat basket for our nephews and niece that live a few states away. Our entire family hit the stores in search of fun and yummy items to fill the Trick or Treat basket. Of course, I was delighted to find the cute plastic popcorn tubs in the dollar section at Target. We got enough for each kid so that they could watch the Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin as a family movie night before Halloween! I made sure to stick a package of the Orville Redenbacher’s Flavors in White Cheddar into each tub.
Graham found so many different fun Halloween treats (glow in the dark gummy teeth, tin can Halloween cookies, glow sticks and more). Of course, the mom in me had to buy plenty of none candy related items. It was fun to fill the basket with spooky and fall themed books, Hexbugs, flashlights and Halloween hair bows! Matthew made sure to add in the pumpkin carving kit (great idea, honey).
The boys and I headed out to ship the box last Monday and they received it all by Wednesday!
Thankfully, they made sure to snap some pictures of the kids opening up their loot! I love the looks on their faces. I just wish we could actually be there with them on Halloween to enjoy a bag of popcorn {white cheddar for me} and the movie.
This post was sponsored by Orville Redenbacher. I also received a $150 gift card to create and ship my gift basket to our niece and nephews. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info. Subscribe to Go Graham Go! by Email as well as follow us on Twitter!
