I don’t know about you but I spent most of the holiday break baking. It didn’t help matters when I received The Old Farmer’s Almanac Everyday Baking in the mail in the midst of all of the baking madness! I grew up with The Farmer’s Almanac and have been looking through our 2013 for the weather forecasts mostly. I’ll never forget my own grandmother predicting Davis’s due date by using her Farmer’s Almanac and looking at the moon phases. I’m telling you, if you are a southerner this has probably been a staple in your family for many years as well. You can purchase the Everyday Baking for about $9.99 and the Almanac for about $5.99 in stores near you.
So, if you are looking for a delicious, semi-healthy, quick and easy southern breakfast idea for your kiddos heading back to school after the break you need to check out these muffins! The boys really love them and I appreciate that they are made with oat bran and whole wheat. Besides, the combo of bananas and blueberries is a tangy and sweet that makes a yummy combo!

All this baking and food photo taking has Davis in a daze! He sees me heading to the dinning room table and he is hot on my heels. Did you guys ever read that children’s book that was something like Timmy in the Middle of Everything? I can’t recall the exact title and I can’t seem to find it anywhere, but I promise it existed and is the definition of Davis! I hope you guys have a wonderful New Year!

Davis looks so happy and GROWN up! He’s getting so big. Wasn’t it like just yesterday when you had him? I know it wasn’t. It just doesn’t seem too long ago; you posted his nursery room reveal.

I know what you mean! It feels like just yesterday.

OH my, those really do look good! I miss your face too!!! Type-A for sure, right?
Felicia says
As much as I want to go to Type-A I am not yet signed up. It is tough going between conferences for things to keep up my licensure as well as the blog. In the end, my licensure pays the bills (for the most part)!
