Honestly, my summer beauty routine generally involves a splash of bug spray, sunscreen and chlorine. I rarely leave the house with the boys just because… why would we? Seriously. We have everything we need right here. A pool to splash in, woods to hike in, critters galore and a creek. But, I do notice that the once or twice a week when I actually put on makeup my skin is different.
Summer means more humidity and usually oilier skin. This usually translates into me wearing not a lot of makeup and making sure not to wear anything “thick”. By midday my makeup is usually pretty much gone. So, this summer I’ve been putting a little secret weapon to the test.
Skindinavia just launched their new Makeup Primer Spray and it works really well. It is silicone-free and even comes with vitamins and minerals in order to help your skin stay healthy. My skin feels nice and my makeup goes on smoothly. I’ve also noticed that my makeup tends to stick with me longer.
You can pick up Skindinavia Makeup Primer for about $35 for a 4oz bottle. This should last you quite a long time since it sprays on with a fine mist. You can also spray directly to brushes for concealer or eyeshadows.

I have used their make-up setting spray and LOVE it! I haven’t tried the primer yet so I will keep it in mind. I notice that every time I use my Skindinavia setting spray, I get a lot of compliments on how much my skin glows.

It definitely makes a difference. It must be all of the minerals 🙂
