We have this joke in our family and with one of my friends that we break the bank every time we have to purchase a razor or refills! All joking aside, that is why razors and accessories make great stocking sutffers around this house. While they aren’t the most expensive thing in the world, you definitely know you are buying them. So, if you are going to spend the money it is important to choose something that works well. My husband has used the Gillette Brand Razors for as long as I can remember and remains loyal to them. Yes, he has one of those big, nice, fancy electric razors as well, but he spends most of his time with the Gillette.
We were recently sent the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler Razor as well as the Gillette Clear Shave Gel to checkout. First, you should know that my husband has extremely sensitive skin. He tries new things rarely for that very reason. He has been using both of these for the past few days and has zero complaints. He actually told me that he likes the fact that the Clear Shave Gel doesn’t foam. I honestly have never thought about this, but he says when you use the regular foaming shaving cream you can’t see your lines. Essentially, if you have sideburns or facial hair that you are trying to trim you can see what you are doing while using the Clear Shave Gel as opposed to foam that limits your view. He also says that the razor is nice because you can accurately trim while using a tool that is small and light. It is nice to have a great razor that is easy to travel with. Not to mention, because the ProGlide Styler has 3 tools in 1, it makes sense for travel, small bathrooms and overall sanity of keeping up with different tools.
The Gillette ProGlide Styler Razor retails for about $14 on Amazon and may vary up to about $19 depending upon the store. The Clear Shave Gel generally retails for about $7-$8. I think these would be a nice combination for a stocking stuffer or a small gift under the tree! Maybe pair this with some new cologne.
If your guy is looking for ways to use the ProGlide Styler or tips on how to shave different styles Gillette has some pretty good video tutorials. Check out this one for how to create the circle beard:
