With Advent right around the corner, I wanted to revamp an old advent calendar I created for kids several years ago. This free printable advent scripture calendar is not only a great way to celebrate the Christmas season but is a wonderful way to get into the Bible and read more than just the Christmas story.
You will notice that each day has a theme that corresponds with the verses and/or chapters. You will also notice that some days there is more to read than others. The original Advent Calendar was adapted to fit the Adventure Storybook Bible for kids. I like the fact that this gets us in the Bible reading all about the love of Jesus and not just the typical Christmas Story.
