Today officially feels like fall for me. I actually had to pull out the boots and the sweater because our high was in the 50’s. Tomorrow we may have ice! Fall is my absolute favorite season and I love to celebrate it and all that it brings.

Today also brought our first official “leaf looking” drive. This is a tradition that has been long standing in our family since before the boys were born. Now we have two others in tow and they get into it as much as we do. These drives get us all together for long amounts of time without any other distractions. It is amazing the things you can learn from one another in these moments. Matthew and I grab our travel mugs of coffee and fill them full of seasonal flavors. My personal favorite is the Pumpkin Pie Spice creamer from International Delight. Anything pumpkin-y just screams “fall” to me.

I also am enjoying decorating the mantel this time of year. It is time to bring it from spring to fall in a simple way. I keep an 8×10 frame up at all times that I can switch out with favorite sayings and pictures.
