Floaties For The Tiny”ies”

It truly is hard for me to write about summer products because it is barely 60 degrees in good ‘ol Western North Carolina today!  Luckily, we just got back from sunny Florida where we were able to put our Floaties to use!

Davis is only 19 months old but he seems to have no fear when it comes to the water (or most anything).  So, when we were sent the Floatation Vest and Armbands to review I was eager to put them to use on Davis.

The armbands are not welcomed by Davis at this point, so we will try them again in a few months.  But, I am thankful to have them as an option and like how well made they seem to be.  However, the Floatation Vest we were sent fits Davis (who is small for his age) like a glove!  I was so worried we were not going to find a vest that would fit him this summer so I am grateful for this one.

At first, he really hated wearing the vest.  Probably because he had no idea what it was for and why I was strapping this contraption on him!

“Mom, Why?”

After we got to Florida and to the pool he quickly got used to the idea of putting on the vest.  He was able to swim around (with us assisting him) and have fun as soon as he hit the water!  The vest snaps on the sides as well as in the crotch in order to provide support and keep it from floating up around his neck.  He seemed to be pretty comfortable in it.

You can purchase the Floatation Vest for boys or girls for about $25 and choose from 3 different sizes (Davis has a size 2).  The Armbands retail for about $12.

This product was provided free of charge by Floaties. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.
