Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Jumperoo Review #FPBabyGear

One of the baby gear items that really got us through when the boys were under the age of one was the Fisher-Price Jumperoo.  I purchased the Rainforest Jumperoo after Graham loved the one his babysitter owned.  The Jumperoo quickly became a favorite for Davis when he came along as well.  It was my go to toy whenever I needed to cook or clean and was even a great resource to calm a fussy baby.

So, when Fisher-Price contacted me about their Moms’ First Year Favorites and asked if I would pick my favorite from the list I was so excited!  There were so many on the list that I would put as my top picks, but I think the Jumperoo is one that is a sanity saver that is often overlooked by the new mom or mom-to-be.  We were sent the new Luv U Zoo Jumperoo to check out since it is the new one in the line and it has been put to the test by our little friend Maggie.  We love this sweet girl and her family!  Maggie was born with a genetic disorder that causes her to be shorter than “normal”.  She is “fun sized” as her dad puts it.  Maggie is having a blast in the new Jumperoo even though she has to have a little help reaching the floor.

Here’s what we (and Maggie) love about the Luv U Zoo Jumperoo:

  • Everything you need in one entertainer. The Luv U Zoo Jumperoo is not just an entertainer, but it is also a jumper.  It combines the activity of a regular entertainer and the movement of a jumper that can be positioned anywhere in your home.  If you are familiar with traditional jumpers you know that they have to be hung from the ceiling or a doorway.  This can really limit you if you need to get things done.  The Jumperoo can easily be moved from location to location so that your eyes are always on baby.
  • Rewards and teaching.  With one easy switch you can choose to have the music play continuously or have the music play only when baby jumps.  This can be a great way to teach cause and effect.  Brightly colored toys capture your baby’s attention and provide teething, stimulation and fun!  The jumping helps large motor skill development.  The seat of the Jumperoo turns 360 degrees so that there are toys and new things to see all the time.
  • Grows with your child.  There are three different height adjustments available so that your baby can use this longer.  Simply pull down on the tabs on the side.
  • Portable and easy to store.  If you find that this becomes a favorite of your baby you are probably going to want to take it with you!  The tubes pop off the bottom in order to make taking it along or storing a little easier.

See it in Action:

Overall, the Luv U Zoo Jumperoo is one of those must have items for the first year.  Every mom whether new or seasoned can use a few “hands free” moments and this is such a fun and safe alternative.  I would highly recommend the Luv U Zoo Jumperoo for any baby registry and new mom.  Make sure to check out the rest of the items that made the top 10 list over at Moms’ First Year Favorites at Fisher-Price.  Some of my other top picks are listed: the Swing, Sleeper and the Play Mat are definites!

Purchase the Luv U Zoo for about $95.  It is worth every sanity saving penny spent!

All opinions expressed in the post are my own and not those of Fisher-Price. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind and even included the Jumperoo in my Ultimate Baby Registry Guide at the beginning of this year as it is a product both of my sons truly loved.  It was a sanity saver. I do believe that you ought to publish more about this subject, it may not be a
