If you have a child ages 3-6 I have such a treat for you today! I really am a fan of these monthly subscription boxes that keep kids entertained and learning. Today there is a new one you need to check out that goes above and beyond because it is brought to you by a team of curriculum experts and teachers. Wonder Box from Education.com provides your child with the materials and instructions to create 3 hands on projects every single month.
I love to put together crafts and creative projects that involve learning with my kids. I think it is fun to dream them up based upon themes or books. Many times I can make use of items we have on hand and save money, but other times I find myself in the craft stores buying a few things here and there. Now, I’m not saying that these boxes should replace your creativity and own ideas, but they can really become a handy fill in for those times you are just not “feeling it”. The first box is only $9.99 which is probably less than what you would spend on materials for 3 projects if you were to head to the store. After the first month you can choose to pay $19.99 per month or $58.99 for 3 months. Both are good deals and would make excellent gift ideas.
We were sent a box to try out and it arrived in the most adorable packaging! Our Wonder Box theme was all about being a Mad Scientist. Here are the projects that were inside:
- I Spy Bottle: Kids make a portable treasure hunt using two liquids that don’t like to mix. Kids learn about density and more with this fun experiment.
- Magnet Magic: A bingo game combined with a hunt around the house to see what sticks to the magnet makes this game fun and exciting!
- Fun Pack: What kid doesn’t love stickers? This fun mosaic has your child choosing the right shape to create several mosaics.
- Recipe: Bubble Bread: What a fun and easy way to get your child cooking and learning about science. Not to mention, it is yummy!
All of these ideas are ones that are so simple, but fun for the entire family. The Wonder Box not only creates a learning environment, but gives the family quality time with one another while having fun. Honestly, your child will probably not even realize they are learning! Win/Win I say.
Now one lucky Go Graham Go reader will win a Wonder Box! Here’s how:

At 4 years old my daughter is extremely interested in science, loves to learn and explore. This would really enhance her learning and would help me explain things to her with a hands on approach.
