Because it is yet again, bubble time in our household, I thought I would share this post again with you guys! It is an easy craft to complete with even the youngest kids and so much fun afterwards! I hope you enjoy (and know that the Hey, America contest is from a year ago).
There’s no denying my love for International Delights French Vanilla Creamer. I have made that known on more than one occasion. Not only do I love the flavor, but I feel like there is just something about vanilla that appeals to many aspects of my life. To me, vanilla is a warm fragrance that feels like home. While I love to travel and experience new things, my heart belongs to my family and those who feel like family to me. I guess that’s why I like it in my coffee (warm, comfy, and loving)!
In honor of the fun “Hey America, What’s Your ID” contest that International Delight is hosting, I decided to create a fun little craft/vanilla bubble recipe for you to repurpose your favorite French Vanilla containers and have fun with your kids.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 empty pint International Delight Container
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup dishwashing liquid
- 4.5 teaspoons light corn syrup
- 2 tbs vanilla extract(optional for scent)
- 2-3 pipe cleaners
Instructions:
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a separate container.
- Pour into your empty International Delight container.
- Peel the sticker from the front and label accordingly. I love using chalkboard stickers.
- Optional: Add food coloring in order to color your bubbles a little.
- Let your solution sit for about 30 minutes. The longer it sits the better it works.
- Store where convenient (ours stays on the porch).
- Shape your pipe cleaners as you like in order to create bubble wants. If you aren’t great at creating shapes you can always print out a template to follow (ex: heart, star, circle, oval, etc).
- Pour your bubble solution into a flat plate and dip your wand in completely and lift out.
- Have fun making bubble memories with your kids!

What a clever idea. I really like this, Felicia! The boys do too, obviously. 🙂

I agree with Erin, Brilliant! Especially since Blake always seems to spill the bubbles on me, at least I would smell good!

Great idea, i’m sure my kids will love it. Not sure about the adding the vanilla though, they might be too tempted to have a little taste.
Do the other shaped wands actually work?
