Boys and Bright Whites with @Tide #TideVividWhite

March 18, 2013 by Felicia

I must tell you that at the ultrasound when I found out Graham was going to be a boy I was giddy with excitement.  I had always wanted a little boy and was thrilled that soon it would be a reality.  It all seemed to hit me a few moments later when I was by myself in the bathroom.  The first thing I panicked about was the adventurous side of boys and the fact that he would one day be driving.  Then my mind went to the rambunctious factor and all the little boys I had ever known in my life.  The one thing I didn’t think about was the gross factor!

If you have little boys then you know exactly what I am talking about.  I was quite literally just having a conversation on Facebook about how to effectively clean the mess created multiple times a day in the bathroom.  The smell is jut there forever I think.  The next thing is keeping their clothes clean and free from grass, mud, drink, ketchup, bug guts, snot and anything and everything else you could and (may not want to) think of.

You may remember a few years ago I traveled to the Tide headquarters for Fabric Care University.  I have to tell you it was a day of enlightenment for me and one I will never forget.  Before I had kids I would buy whatever laundry detergent was on sale.  After kids and after learning all I did about the technology that is in that little bottle of laundry detergent, I realized why it was a good idea to invest a little.  You see, Tide Vivid White and Bright uses active enzymes in order to break down stains on all of your clothes.  Because there is no bleach, you can use it on all of your laundry making your colors even more vivid.  I watched a version of this in action while I was there and it was nothing short of amazing.

So, can boys really have vivid white clothes?  The answer is YES!  Even my boys who like to romp around in the mud and smear their food all into their clothes.  Even they can have a vivid whites.  Hallelujah!  I even purchased white sweater vests for Easter.  Yes, I went there!

Tide Vivid White + Bright keeps whites brighter longer allowing you to break the rules of white. Learn more about Tide’s whiteness regimen by visiting DailyCandy.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Tide. The opinions and text are all mine.
