Asthma is something that I was not familiar with until Davis came along. When I think of asthma I am taken back to elementary school and a girl who was in my class who couldn’t even participate in PE without having to be on the nebulizer. Little did I know that there are all different types of asthma and symptoms. Lucky for us, Davis really doesn’t have problems unless he is getting sick. Things just tend to go straight to his lungs making his little life so much harder!
So, we have discovered a few things along the way that have helped him. One of those things is a humidifier. We had one that looked like it was straight from the 1980’s even though we bought it brand new. It had fake wood paneling and all. Oh, and did I mention that it was a monstrosity? It was HUGE! I know that looks shouldn’t matter that much when it comes to a humidifier, but when it is for most of your house, takes up most of your house and you have it on display for the world to see it starts to matter! Our new cool mist humidifier quickly found itself in the bathroom corner when summer rolled around which wasn’t doing anyone any good at all. Ya’ll, it had to go!
A few weeks ago Luma Comfort contacted me and when I saw their gorgeous cool mist humidifier I truly wanted to jump for joy! This was the answer to our household dilemma as well as our dry and itchy winter skin. Our heat and air guy also told us that running a large cool mist humidifier would help cut the costs of your heating bill! We were winning all over the place!
What I love about the Luma Comfort Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is that it is silent! It will run and the only way you will know it is working is because of the gentle mist you see coming out of the top. You can also adjust the height with the included toppers. It really just depends upon where you are putting it and how it fits in decor wise. This humidifier also lasts a long time before you have to fill it. Ours is generally good for 2 days without being turned off. It produces approximately 2. 5 gallons of mist daily and covers about 650 square feet!
We honestly could not be more pleased with this new find! If you are in the market it will be the best $139 you’ve spent in my opinion.
We would benefit from this because we all have dry skin.
My husband has asthma and my daughter gets really bad dry coughs in the winter so this would be wonderful to help them both!
I have 3 little ones who are constantly getting sick and we could really use this to help keep them healthy!
My girls are always getting sick and need a good humidifier and we have heard great thingws about the luma comfort ones!
The kids will benefit from this a lot and i love that it helps with reducing the energy bill! we love cool mist humidifiers and love how stylish this one looks and is inconspicuous!

The heat in my home makes it very dry this would help with the dry coughs and dry skin.

I live in the desert where it is very dry. This would be great to have to help with all those winter coughs and colds.
This would be great for my family with asthma.
My son has severe asthma, it would be great for us.
This would benefit my family because we have forced air heat and it gets very dry in the winter.
Thank you!
This would benefit my family because we have forced air heat and it gets very dry in the winter.
Thank you!
My kids and I all have dry skin so we keep a humidifier running in each room at night for comfort plus it helps with coughs.
This time of year I need to put on lotion/chapstick about 10 times a day and the kids end up with ecsema. This would be great to help with the dryness and I like that it looks kinda neat too and isn’t just a box 🙂
My 5 year old has asthma so this would be great!
It would really benefit my family because my Husband suffers from horrendous allergies.
My 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with Asthma when she was 4 months old. The extreme weather here in NJ causes flare-ups year round. (HOT in the summer-Extreme COLD in the winter). Seasonal allergies in the spring are a problem too. I haven’t been able to find the right product to help her with sleeping at night. This might do the trick:)
to help with allergens and asthma
we just moved from the south to the north… it’s very dry to us!
because we suffer from a lot of colds and allergies
It would benefit us because it’s pretty, useful, and would be fantastic for running in this nasty winter weather we’re getting this year.
My son has asthma, too. We use a humidifier but it needs to be filled every 12 hours. It would be so nice to only fill it every 2 days!
My husband has allergies and that makes it hard for him to breath, which makes it hard for him to get a good nights sleep. This would help immensely.
my son and i have allergies and this would help him breath at night while he is resting
This would be helpful to our dry skin and allergy problems.
I suffer from eczema and using a humidifier would greatly help to reduce my dry, itchy skin.
I love the look of that humidifier. Not only functional, but great looking! Can’t beat that!
It would help make us more comfortable.
We have had incredibly dry air this winter, and the whole family has a cough – but we only have one humidifier. I would love to have a couple more throughout the house.
my daughter and I both have asthma, I’ve been wanting a humidifier for more rooms in our house – my daughter has one in her room, I think having one would help me feel better and hopefully sleep better too.
We go through lots of humidifiers in our house- I’d love to try this one!
we all have bad allergies and mild to moderate asthma in our house of 5. ugh…… thank you
I’m stuffy all the time, year round. I think this would help me breathe better. Of course I’d need to clean it often.
Thanks to allergies, asthma, and other items we are supposed to use a cool mist humidifier. We have had so many that never work or do not work well for the size of our rooms. This looks like it would work really well for our needs.
We have 2 kids with asthma and 1 adult. This would be a huge help for us.
Id give it to my daughter for my two granddaughters.
Winter in Illinois= dry, dry and DRY!

I have asthma and other respiratory issues, so this humidifier would be a great help for me. Also, my cat has a cold, so it would probably help her, too!
My husband has asthma, and I have dry, winter skin and nasal passages thanks to running our heating unit all the time.
This would help my skin to not be so dry.

This would be great to win because it’s beautiful and functional.
my daughter has asthma and my son has breathing problems as well.. .so this would be helpful.
We also suffer from asthma, and the heat is really hard on us. It’s been snowing so much that we can’t open the windows to air out the house. Also my skin is dry and lips are chapped. A humidifier would benefit us greatly.
This humidifier would benefit my family because we have problems with dry skin, chapped lips, and static.
It would help with all the dry air in our house from having the heat on all day!
This would be great because my oldest daughter has asthma.
In the winter, we use wood to heat our house with a small cook stove. Burning the wood in the house dries it out quickly and even though I have a pot of hot water on the stove, it does not add enough moisture back into the air. With dry air we get congested and sinus infections more frequently in addition to super dry skin and lips. This would help tremendously. Thank you so much for the wonderful giveaway!
