I am not going to lie. I really love a beautiful cook book. I love the gorgeous pictures and vibrant colors. But, what I love more than a beautiful cook book is a smart one. I love it when they are organized well and have a theme. So, when I heard about The Farmer’s Kitchen Handbook I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.
It came in the mail just a few weeks ago and I think that this is currently my favorite cook book. It really is more like a handbook like the title suggests. It gives you smart ideas for creating things from scratch, canning, making cheese, curing meat and more. The best part about the entire cook book is that the foods are categorized by months to make the most of what is currently in season. Now that is what I call smart organizing! I can flip open the book for June and find recipes for cheese, banana bread, and strawberries! I am looking forward to all of the fun fall recipes as well.
You can purchase The Farmer’s Kitchen Handbook for $11.36 from Amazon.com. This is definitely one to add to your collection.
